Our story
Hi, I’m Elijah — I started Mingo Events when I was just 18 years old. What began as a simple idea in our Herriman home with my amazing mom has slowly grown into the luxury event rental business it is today.
My mom has always had a natural talent for decorating — she can take any space and turn it into something beautiful and memorable. Watching her work inspired me to combine her creativity with my passion for woodworking, became the foundation of Mingo Events. Today, much of our wood inventory is handcrafted in house, allowing us to offer some really special one of a kind rental pieces that reflect craftsmanship, care, and a personal commitment to elevating every event.
We started small, just the two of us renting out a few tables and chairs, putting in the hard work, and learning as we went. Every event helped fuel our growth and allowed us to offer new inventory.
Today, Mingo Events is known for more than just rentals. After handcrafting our custom wooden bars, we naturally expanded into catering and in the future interactive event experiences.
